Commonwealth's Attorney Brent Turner has confirmed the arrest. The shooting occurred on Thursday morning at the Lawrence County Courthouse in Louisa, Kentucky. According to Turner, Hampton was scheduled to appear before Judge Sammons for a bond hearing. Turner stated that Hampton was taken into custody without incident.
