National Reconciliation Week: Be a Voice for Reconciliation
A Call to Action for South Australians
Now More Than Ever
WEB Reconciliation SA, a not-for-profit community organization, urges all South Australians to participate in the upcoming National Reconciliation Week. This year's theme, "Be a Voice for Reconciliation," encourages us to make tangible contributions to reconciliation in our daily activities and workplaces.
Join the Movement
During National Reconciliation Week, organizations and individuals across the country host various events and activities. We have compiled a list of events taking place in South Australia to help you engage and demonstrate your commitment to reconciliation.
Tomorrow's Start
National Reconciliation Week begins tomorrow, providing an opportunity for South Australians to learn about our shared history and explore how we can collectively contribute to reconciliation. The day before Reconciliation Week, May 26th, is National Sorry Day, commemorating the 1998 release of the Human Rights Commission's "Bringing Them Home" report.
Be the Change
This National Reconciliation Week, let us all strive to be voices for reconciliation. Let us actively listen to First Nations voices, engage in respectful conversations, and support reconciliation initiatives in our communities. By embracing the spirit of reconciliation, we can create a future where all Australians are valued and respected.
